Our story began in 1984, when we opened the very first Menbaka (Fire Ramen) restaurant in Kyoto. In the early days, we served various types of ramen. But just one year after opening, our founder discovered that pouring flaming oil over freshly chopped green onions not only created an incredible aroma—it also brought out a unique and unforgettable flavor. That’s how Fire Ramen was born, and it quickly became our signature dish.
Since then, we’ve grown from serving local Japanese guests to welcoming ramen lovers from all over the world. Our mission is to share authentic ramen culture globally, while offering a one-of-a-kind experience that’s both delicious and exciting.
Unlike many ramen shops, we focus on preserving the traditional taste of Shoyu Ramen—a soy sauce-based broth that is light yet deeply flavorful. And to make sure everyone can enjoy our ramen, we now proudly offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and Muslim-friendly options, carefully crafted with the same attention to quality and taste.
